Employment Law
Our expertise
Throughout the employment process, Woods plays a leading role, from drafting and negotiating employment contracts to ensuring compliance with post-employment obligations. Working exclusively for executives and senior managers, we support both employers and employees in resolving complex and varied disputes. We regularly achieve settlements before court proceedings are initiated, keeping the majority of our cases confidential.
As seasoned litigators, Woods’ lawyers are well versed in the application of confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, as well as the legal duty of loyalty. Our most common mandates involve allegations of entitlement to notice (notice period or severance pay) and the determination and calculation of its components (benefits, bonuses, etc.), whether in arbitration, before the courts or before certain administrative tribunals.
