Chanel Provost begins a new chapter at Woods

Woods is proud to welcome Chanel Provost to its team. A member of the Bar since 2022, she practises both civil litigation and common law, and stands out for her versatility and professionalism, which will be a valuable contribution to the firm’s cases.

Holder of a double bachelor’s degree in law and criminology from Université de Montréal and Ottawa University, she has the skills required to conduct rigorous legal analysis while maintaining a keen understanding of human reality. Her career has been marked by distinctions, such as a mention of excellence in law and her nomination to the Dean’s List in criminology, two honours that illustrate her ability to excel and stand out in the legal field.

Chanel completed her academic studies with an internship alongside Judge Éric Downs at the Superior Court, which allowed her to develop her research and strategic analysis skills. After graduating, she practiced and gained experience in several areas of law, including appeals, administrative law, environmental law, and construction-related litigation.

Her career path demonstrates great determination and promising potential, and we are excited to support her in her professional development at Woods.
