Congratulations To McGill University For Its Victory At Laskin
Woods wishes to congratulate Susan Humphrey, Farnell Morisset, Christophe Cinqmars-Viau and Olivier Beaubien, law students at McGill University, for their victory at the Laskin national moot competition, which was held in Ottawa on March 3rd and 4th 2016. The McGill team was supported and trained since the beginning of the academic year by Mtre. Audrey Bourassa and Mtre. Richard Vachon from our firm.
The two teams from McGill University made it to the finals, where they pleaded before a panel which included chief justice McLachlin of the Supreme Court of Canada. Woods also wishes to congratulate Susan Humphrey and Farnell Morisset for their performances for which they received the prize of best tandem of litigators, while Christophe Cinqmars-Viau and Olivier Beaubien received the prize for the fourth best tandem of litigators. Finally, Farnell Morisset also won the prize for best litigator.
Woods is proud to have supported these law students from McGill University for this renowned national moot event.
