Woods is proud to announce that Marc-Antoine Côté, has been appointed to the Young Advocates Standing Committee (YASC) of The Advocates’ Society, the leading professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in advocacy and the highest standards of professionalism and ethics among legal practitioners in Canada.

The committee’s mandate is to be the voice of lawyers who have been called to the bar within the past ten years, giving them access to a community of peers and colleagues and a platform within The Society.

Marc-Antoine Côté is a skillful and versatile litigator with substantial trial and appellate experience in complex and high-stakes litigation matters. He acts in a wide range of civil and commercial cases, with a particular focus on finance, securities, financial fraud, shareholder disputes and defamation matters. He is also regularly involved in multi-jurisdictional cases, injunction proceedings and extraordinary remedies, including seizure before judgments and Mareva orders (asset freezing).
