Pyzik, has been appointed to the Mid-career Advocates Standing Committee (MASC) of The Advocates’ Society, the leading professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in advocacy and the highest standards of professionalism and ethics among legal practitioners in Canada.
As an up-and-coming lawyer with an already blooming litigation practice, Sebastian brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this new role. He will serve as a voice for mid-career advocates and help shape the committee’s initiatives and programs. This committee plays a crucial role in addressing the unique challenges faced by mid-career lawyers and provides a platform for their professional growth and development.
Sebastian’s profile at a glance
Sebastian L. Pyzik is a versatile and effective litigator who represents public and private companies and their officers, directors and shareholders in major, sensitive, reputational or otherwise strategic civil and commercial disputes. He also regularly acts for clients facing construction and real estate disputes, including in the context of large-scale projects such as public-private partnerships. His practice also includes handling injunctions and urgent applications, reputational matters and sports-related files. Sebastian holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has teached at the École du Barreau.
