The Barreau du Québec thanks Woods LLP for its contribution to The Justicia Project

On May 14, 2015, the Barreau du Québec thanked Woods LLP for its commitment and contribution to The Justicia Project, a program intended to promote advancement and retention of women in private law firms.  Mtre. Richard Vachon, Mtre. Marie-Louise Delisle and Mtre. Audrey Bourassa represented Woods LLP at the ceremony.

Woods LLP is proud to have taken an active role in Justicia, which was inspired by a similar initiative in Ontario.  Participating law firms exchanged their expertise and ideas to develop and promote best practices, policies or programs regarding internal challenges such as parental leave, networking and business development, coaching and leadership and tracking the demographics and progress within law firms.  After reflection and discussions over a period of three years, the final recommendations were grouped together and are available in nine guides.
