The Globe and Mail once again honours Woods in its ranking of Canada’s best law firms

Woods has the privilege of once again being recognized among the best law firms in Canada in the 2026 edition of Canada’s Best Law Firms, published by The Globe and Mail in partnership with Statista. This recognition is a testament not only to the firm’s reputation for excellence in the legal field but also to its ongoing commitment to providing high-quality legal services.  

Woods has once again distinguished itself by being ranked among the most recognized firms in dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration, and investigations). This honour reflects Woods’ ongoing commitment to delivering top-tier service in dispute resolution. 

The selection process for Canada’s best law firms involves a rigorous evaluation conducted by legal professionals, with recommendations collected through surveys from peers and clients who have received legal services. Nearly 25,000 lawyers, in-house counsel, and legal managers working within corporate legal departments across the country were invited to participate in this extensive survey. The most prestigious firms were identified from 11 000 recommendations across 31 distinct areas of law.
