Woods adds a new member to its team

Woods is very proud to welcome Simon-Alexandre Poitras to its team. After graduating from Université de Sherbrooke and being called to the Quebec Bar in 2019, he has been gaining experience in disciplinary law and construction law. At Woods, he will participate in complex civil and commercial disputes involving a wide range of issues.

Outside his practice, Simon-Alexandre is an active member of the Bar who enjoys sharing his legal knowledge. He has notably been invited to give lectures for professional orders. Thanks to his excellent academic record, he was chosen to represent his university in various forums, such as the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Civil Law Moot Court Competition and the National Model United Nations in New York City, where he acted as chief delegate. He was also a member of the Editorial and Development Board of the Revue de droit de l’Université de Sherbrooke.
