A distinguished graduate of the combined B.C.L./J.D. program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Hanife’s journey has been characterized by an interest for resolving complex disputes. He showcased his leadership skills as the President of the McGill Arbitration Student Society. His role as the Media Editor for the McGill Journal of Dispute Resolution further demonstrated his dedication to advancing the understanding of legal matters. Hanife also contributed to the field of international tax law as a research assistant and provided valuable legal information to start-ups in the Montreal area through his involvement with Compass Legal Clinic.

Before pursuing his legal studies, Hanife gained invaluable insights into the intersection of law and public policy while working as a political staffer on Parliament Hill. His diverse educational background includes a double Master of Science in Innovation & International Trade Policy from Maastricht University/United Nations University-MERIT.
