She began her career at the Autorité des marchés financiers as an articling student and later as a lawyer. In this public-protection–oriented environment, she worked on administrative, penal, and civil cases, including before the Tribunal administratif des marchés financiers, the Cour du Québec, and the Superior Court, gaining experience directly relevant to securities litigation and regulatory compliance. 
A graduate of McGill University (B.C.L./J.D.), she was actively involved in faculty life, serving as Editor-in-Chief of Le Délit, McGill’s French-language newspaper, and as a Tutorial Leader at the Faculty of Law. She also completed a clerkship at the Municipal Court. She holds a diploma from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, where she received the Governor General’s Academic Medal.
