Gabrielle Hélène Genest begins a new professional chapter at Woods

Woods is pleased to announce the arrival of Gabrielle Hélène Genest to its team. A member of the Bar since 2024, she will focus her practice on a broad range of civil, commercial, and administrative matters. She takes a rigorous, solutions-oriented approach centered on delivering value clients’ objectives. 

With experience at the Autorité des marchés financiers, her practice has encompassed administrative, penal and civil. She has experience in securities litigation, advocacy before the Quebec Court and the Superior Court, and advising financial regulatory compliance matters. 

A graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Laws, Gabrielle has stood out for her sustained commitment and leadership. She has held several key roles, including Editor-in-Chief of Le Délit, McGill’s French-language newspaper, and Tutorial Leader at the Faculty of Law. Her experience also includes a formative internship at the Municipal Court, where she developed strong practical skills.
