The Honourable André Prévost Chooses Woods

Woods is proud to announce that the Honourable André Prévost, retired judge of the Superior Court of Quebec, has joined Woods as senior counsel.

With an outstanding career, the Honourable André Prévost is recognized as a leading figure in law in both Quebec and Canada. After 18 years on the bench, he is joining our firm, where his unique expertise will enhance our complex cases, strengthen our trial preparation strategies, and contribute to the training of the next generation of legal talent. His presence underscores our unwavering commitment to excellence in litigation, arbitration, and insolvency, and to serving our clients in highly strategic legal matters.

Before his appointment to the Superior Court, the Honourable Prévost built a successful career at a distinguished Canadian law firm. He practiced in diverse fields, including commercial litigation and professional liability, while also taking on strategic leadership roles as co-head of the national litigation group and managing partner for the Quebec region.

Beyond his professional achievements, the Honourable Prévost has been deeply involved in advancing the legal profession. A former member of various Bar committees, he has also taught at the Quebec Bar School, delivered numerous lectures, and authored several influential articles.
