Woods adds two talented young lawyers to its team
Woods is proud to announce the hiring of two lawyers, Yasmeen Dajani and Daniel Martz, who are beginning their practice in civil and commercial litigation. Both notably have clerkship experience — one at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and the other at the Federal Court — and share a strong interest in administrative and constitutional law.
Since her admission to the bar in 2021, Yasmeen has developed solid experience in the field, notably through her roles as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada and the Quebec Court of Appeal. Holder of a civil law degree from both Oxford University and McGill University, she was also in numerous legal projects alongside members of McGill’s Faculty of Law. Her refined academic background reflects her curiosity and deep commitment to the legal field.
Daniel gained valuable experience at the Federal Court, completed an internship at the Department of Justice Canada, and at several law firms. A graduate of Université de Sherbrooke, he stood out by receiving an award of excellence recognizing the quality of his academic journey. His path is also marked by strong involvement, notably as a law tutor, his contributions to research projects in property law and defamation, and his participation on the board of directors of his student association.
Woods is very proud to welcome additional talented professionals to its team.
Welcome to our new recruits!
