Woods Welcomes Laurent Crépeau to its Team
Woods is proud to announce the newest addition to its team, Laurent Crépeau. His talent is grounded in a strong academic and professional background encompassing civil, commercial, and corporate litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitration, enhancing the capabilities of our firm.
His professional experience encompasses a broad spectrum, including cross-border disputes, shareholder remedies, and insolvency proceedings under both the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
A distinguished graduate of McGill University, Laurent holds degrees in civil law and common law. He also holds a Master of Laws in international arbitration and litigation from New York University. During his time at law school, Laurent contributed significantly as a research assistant in the areas of commercial law, arbitration, and private international law. He showcased his advocacy skills by participating in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and served as a senior editor for the McGill Law Journal.
